Mark Colman's Story
Ubique Courier Services was born through the desire to assist, support and deliver.
"After serving in the first Gulf War and witnessing some harrowing scenes, and a few incidents on my return to civilian life, I was diagnosed with PTSD. I was helped through this time of my life with the charity VIA and continue to be involved in both fund-raising and expeditions, which in turn helps our veterans suffering with PTSD or finding it hard adjusting to civilian life after their time in the forces.
To further aid this life-changing charity, we donate £5.00 per job to Veterans In Action. So, by using us, you will be helping change the lives of other forces veterans, who need help adjusting to civilian life, or suffering with the effects of war.
As Ubique Couriers expands, we will be employing other veterans who have been helped to overcome PTSD and have come through the other side, making us a company run by veterans, for veterans and also helping others to overcome their problems."

Ian had a career in the Navy for 12 and a half years from 1979 to 1992. Serving on various ships and also served abroad in Gibraltar. Left the Navy in 1992 and joined Honda in Swindon where he worked on the production lines for a few years before progressing into the office as a Process Engineer. Travelled to Japan on many occasions for development of New Model vehicle’s. Mainly Honda Civics.
"After taking voluntary redundancy in 2009 I took a career break for 6 months. I then did various jobs until stepping back into Automotive at JLR in Solihull. After getting married in January 2019 I moved to Northampton and left JLR to take up a job as a self employed courier driver. I love the freedom and earning potential this job creates.
Now working with Mark things have taken a step in the right direction. I feel this business can go a long way. As well as earning potential we will also provide the Charity with extra funding.
In my spare time I play golf to a decent standard. I also travel to Manchester to support my beloved Manchester City.
I have a lovely wife Samantha who has supported me through some tough times of late. I have inherited 4 lovely kids who I think the world of."
